100mm Dry Polishing Pads 50 Grit-5000 Grit (Buff)
Designed for polishing material which has been cut or scratched can be used in larger areas but is best finished with a wet system. These pads should not be used for grinding or removing stock,. these are ideal for the Tradesman who needs a quick cost efficient polishing solution. Best to use with a polishing machine in combination with a Velcro Backer Pad at speeds under 4000rpm. ideally a Variable speed angle grinder will suffice.
Not for use with great pressure associated with traditional abrasives as the diamond with slight pressure is sufficient to achieve your desired finish.
The ideal target speed for this pad is around 2000rpm.
The Grits available are 50 right up to 5000(Buff) and in between doubling grits each stage.
Our most popular pack is made up of the following 10 pc set
2 x 50, 2×100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 3000 Buff(5000) grit pads.
We doubled up the two coarse pads that are generally used more often and tend to wear out faster than the higher numbered grits.
