The Makita PW5000C 100mm soft start single speed variable wet stone grinder is fitted with a 100mm rubber backing pad that allows the fitting of stone polishing pads, This also allows for Bull nose attachments for Tiling and Paving Contractors who are particular about matching exact shades of tiles with a finished edge.
With a constant speed under load feature, the speed range on the Makita PW5000C is 2000-4000rpm which is adjusted by a dial on the rear of the machine, this allows for the optimum speed to be set depending on type of stone to be sanded. Three water supply holes evenly wet every channel of the polishing pad which reduces the amount of air born dust and helps prevent the pad from getting too hot.
Ideal for stone polishing it features an electronic speed control with a pre-setting dial, soft start and overload protection.
3 water supply holes evenly feed water to every channel of the polishing pad, protecting the pad from overheating and getting clogged with dust.
