The Dustless Technologies D1730 CutBuddie is a professional-grade 5-inch (125mm) dust extraction cutting shroud designed to provide effective dust control during concrete cutting, tuckpointing, crack chasing and masonry applications.

Engineered to capture dust directly at the source when connected to a suitable dust extractor, the CutBuddie helps minimise airborne dust particles, including hazardous crystalline silica, creating cleaner, safer working environments while improving cutting visibility and efficiency.

Manufactured from durable, transparent polycarbonate, the D1730 features an adjustable cutting depth guide and protective metal baseplate for accurate, controlled cutting. Its universal mounting system is designed to fit a wide range of 4.5"–6" angle grinders using cutting discs up to 5" (125mm).

Important: For effective silica dust control, the D1730 must be connected to a suitable dust extractor. Dustless Technologies specifies an extraction requirement of 25 CFM per inch of cutting wheel diameter, equivalent to 125 CFM (approximately 212 m³/h) for a 5" blade. Regulatory compliance depends on the complete extraction system and working conditions.
